Working as a commercial artist prepared me to be able to transform a client’s idea into a three-dimensional reality. I believe it’s extremely important to listen carefully when doing a commissioned sculpture in order to recreate a moment or person in time and accurately represent the thoughts and memories of the client.
I try to capture the essence and spirit of the person or animal depicted and always strive for historical and anatomical accuracy in my work.
I have done numerous commissions for individuals, churches, businesses, and the military.
